Let's get rid of the Super 12 and their artificial teams. Instead, let's have
new national leagues in each country, like this.

R/R Competition =18games R/R Competition = 18games 2XR/R = 16

Top 4 from NZ and South Africa, top 2 from Australia, and say 1 team from
Argentina and 1 team from South Pacific provincial champions. Thus we have 12
teams - but the same teams that play in their respective national leagues
(Auckland rather than the Blues). We could then play a league style format, or
perhaps two groups of Six (Super Six, anyone?)
