Um, I sincerely doubt SA will win.

I say the Wallabies or All Blacks,  too much politics in SA, and besides
they won it last time.

Or if you believe the IRB: It is Englands year.

Maybe it is.

I admire your optimism and wish I could share it, but where does it come
from? Out of the seven top super 12 teams, FIVE are from NZ. See what
happened to the Coastal Stormers today? (Sun 26 April). Heaven help the
Boks. The Kiwi teams seem to have so much class. The SA teams have talent,
but we all know that something is wrong, and the problem is clearly a lot
deeper than just Louis Luyt. Maybe it is because patriotism in the new-SA is
low, I don't know. Hopefully Nick Mallet will make a difference.

Western Stormers acutally, the Coastal Stormers beat the Chiefs by 52-18 and
have beaten Auckland in the competition previously.  The Stormers lost
because they played the wrong type of gameplan, I feel that Mallet has a far
greater grasp of the game than a coach who believes the Percy Montgomery's
best position is at centre.

Boks. The Kiwi teams seem to have so much class. The SA teams have talent,

Unfortuneately he occupies such a seat of power that his damning influence
spreads to all facets of SA rugby, except maybe Natal.
