I don't begrudge him anything. Personally, I'd be delighted if every
player in the world of his talent were in the English League system so
I could see them play in the flesh once a season at Welford Road,
rather than on tv.
Whilst we are talking about RJs ability, England would kill to have
someone of his class, especially as they are now experimenting with a
running game. I have always admired his play, and was disappointed he
and Barnes weren't the first team halfbacks on the Lions' 93 tour of
NZ. What a waste of Evans and Underwood that series was.

Yes. With Northampton now exploring a "public auction" to raise dosh,
things are looking a bit rough. However as you say it's still early
days.
