Francois Steyn won the World Cup playing at inside centre with no
experience.

But that's Francois Steyn.

As far as I remember he won us an U19 World Cup at 12 in a team where
Alaistar Hargreaves was captain and Jodi Rose was the 10.
The match was at Kings Park against New Zealand and I think it was
2005.

*** me dead - no wonder he's stayed 21 for years.  Time obviously
warps in a strange manner in the immediate surrounds of his person...

Nah. The lineout was a far more critical factor.

The strange thing is that they only lost by 3. Even stranger is they
Boks needed 3 penalty kicks from their own half and an intercept try
to win. Bizarre game.

And my concern is as it was last year, and the year before that.  That
Henry et al. will think everything is OK but for a bit of bad luck or
a poor refereeing perfromance.

The reality is that the AB have systemic issues, and have done for
several years.

I think it comes down to the number of points scored.....also the
reason why the AB's lost to France in Cardiff....
