I would tend to say the best in terms of stirring up a side would have
to be the Welsh anthem at the Arms Park (I refuse to bow to this
"Millennium Stadium" nonsense...) closely followed by the French ("Aux
armes, aux armes mes citoyens" or whatever the exact wording is - I
fail to see how you could fail to be fired up by it). I assume Ireland
will be using the pseudo-anthem "Ireland's Call" for the WC, which
I've never warmed to. Flower of Scotland is alright, but can be a tad
dirge like if not done right. God Save the Queen? Good anthem for some
occassions, but not for firing up a sports side and not actually
exclusively English. I'm tempted to support a shift to Jerusalem, but
I don't see the RFU ever moving to it.
