And after this year, the Bledisloe will also be situated in New Zealand.
The 7s - what a win! The 7s is PROPORTIONALLY as hard to win as the XVs.

Beautiful Ferdi. Not all of us sulked, but some definitely did :)

We didn't win the 7's so much as Fiji lost it.

piffle to 7s (are this still picking campese in the Aus team?)

The wallabies will be the brumbies with a decent kicker and will therefore
be unstoppable! muahahaha

Wasn't the World Cup last year - why dwell on the past when NZ will assert
*** this year?

Make up your mind, best over 100 years... why dwell on the past...

Seems you kiwis distort the benchmarks to suit youselves. Clearly you are in
infringement of a patented 7 sports commentatory techniques, expect a letter
from their attornies shortly.

Fair call Ian but I do think the past is gone - we all look forward to the
Tri Nations this year and to be honest (and you would probably agree) that
if Aus won this it would hold more appeal in the current time frame than
last year's World Cup loss.

I will add that I think NZ will do a bit better under the leadership of Todd
Blackadder.  It seemed that Brooke was just retained to give a bit of
experience and age to the team.

See the new thread - Blackadder.

I agree. NZ rugby pride dented in the last world cup will not be fully
restored until we win another WC.

The ABs in '95 are like the Brumbies in 2000, as much as people agree
and as strong the evidence that 'the were the best team' history
records them as #2.

Great post, and spot on. I have this horrible feeling that if the
Brumbies played 10 games vs the Crusaders they'd [ACT] win 7 or 8 out of
10. But the Crusaders would probably win the final :-)

The Crusaders did burgle this one, and much as the ABs lost, that's the
end of the story.
