Congrats to Counties After there Kick ass performance today.
What a shame one of the best teams in the country(with only 1 and a half
Abs) isnt in the Semis.

We had Some Bad Luck. I am A ballboy at Pukekohe Stadium for THE MIGHTY
STEELERS.

Justin Marshall is a ***er. An dam tosser.

But not quite as much as a tosspot as you. I can bet he wouldn't post
again 6 minutes later with a spoiler in the header :)

I must admit I'm impressed, most ***wits achieve cretin status
without trying, but you're prepared to put in the extra effort, shame
we won't see you at the semi's

Wouldn't be just a tinge of bitterness about Canterbury's loss here
now would there Tom? Just guessing like.....    ;-)

Strangely enough, none at all. I only get bitter when we lose to the
Aucks ( which I must admit means it's only recently I've cheered up :)
Besides, we're in the semis and Counties aren't, so who'll remember in
a couple of years. The loss to Waikato was far more annoying as a work
mate and I had been razzing each other about the game all week and he
quite rightfully spent the whole of the next day crowing ( bastard :)

I must admit I'm a mainlander through and through, but if it's
Counties vs any other NI team then I'll back Counties. I missed the
game, but knew the score, and had come to the conclusion that
basically Canterbury seems to be trying desperately to play away
during the finals :(

The tone of my post came about because of the spoiler. Some people
post spoilers through ignorance ( OK, shit happens) some people post
spoilers through excessive enthusiasm ( oh well ), but this inbred
piece of eel bait obviously went out of his way to deliberately post a
spoiler as it was his second post in 6 minutes on the subject.

I've been following Usenet for about 4 years now and I learnt long ago
not to let ***wits get my *** pressure up ( otherwise I would have
had a coronary by now) but I was impressed with the sheer bravado of
this particular***less wonder, so I had to let a gentle flame waft
past. What the hell, we've got to take our pleasures where we can.

Counties do have a sort of outsider underdog image, makes it easier to
favour them.

Excuse my ignorance, what is a spoiler?

True. My main gripe is ppl who harp on about a particular point, and
totally ignore any well thought counter arguments, but keep droning on
and on. Totally frustrating, but then maybe that is their intention?
Sheds for example...gggrrrrrr...

A post or worse a header, that gives away a result or other news that
some maybe due to delayed transmission times SPOIL another's
appreciation or enjoyment of a game etc.

POsts are OK, but it is accepted as a common courtesy that HEADERS in
particular do not carry scores/news if of potential SPOILING nature, and
that headers do contain the word SPOILER, or RESULT, or something
similar to indicate that the contents of the message includes
information that might SPOIL another's enjoyment - thus they have the
option of ignoring reading that post until a later date.

Sheds (for example) and Nigel (IMO) do it to simply wind people up.
That they acheive their aims so readily, easily and with little effort
IMO speaks volumes about the reactors more than these indivisuals
themselves.  Others which in a more "normal" way drone on are
potentially completely myopic, or (maybe, just maybe) right!!  ;-)

Didds.

KC.  Get a grip man.  You were better with the Sunshine Band.

Sheds tells it like it is.  Nige tells it like it was.

It is more difficult to detect windup without visual cues. (And I
realise I am giving that mental leviathon sheds an opening here!)

When ALL they do is wind ppl up, I think it says the opposite. When it
is obvious that there are good and well thought out points being
presented, to continue to wind up that person is just being a ***,
and sheds qualifies with room to spare I'm afraid. A jerk of the first
order, no matter how long he's been in this ng, and even if he is a
member of the "inner circle".

Oh, but the giggles Sheds gives us all. The fun and the games. Jerk he may
be, but a priceless one.

What's that?  Someone who can levitate things for ages, possibly for charity?

Get a spellchecker Coveny.

(But I must admit, I have been called worse).
