RWC first game observations

Well, guys. I sat in the Hyder stand (South) and watched the opening
ceremony and the game.

The ceremony was OK, the game was one of the worst I've seen since I don't
know when.
Forty-five quid was the face value of my ticket, fortunately I got mine
free. If I'd paid for it I would have been well unimpressed!
IMO Wales deserved the victory because of their willingness to try to make
the most of their possession, whereas Argentina looked unimaginative in
their play behind the scrum. It looked to me like the decision not to allow
the Welsh squad to play any competitive rugby after the last international
almost backfired, they looked rusty as ***y. However, the game was crap,
but Wales won. It could have been a lot worse; it could have been that the
game was ***and Wales lost!!
