So there I was, looking through last weeks AutoSport and I glanced at the
"touching" picture of Michael and Eddie hugging after the Argy GP, and
noticed the domain "eddie-irvine.com" on Eddie's helmet.

After a brief problem realising that eddie-irvine.com meant
http://eddie-irvine.com and not http://www.eddie-irvine.com, I get there to
see two pictures and several of those ubiquitous and highly annoying "under
construction" signs. Is this Eddie's own webspace? Or is someone running it
for him?

I liked the picture of him in a silly hat

Kimbo told me about this site a while ago.  I was introduced to Sonia Irvine
just after Christmas through a mutual friend and she told me that Eddie had
seen my site and that he wanted to start his own up.  I don't know if
www.eddie-irvine.com is it or not.  It's registered in Switzerland as well,
which seems a bit odd, I would have thought that if it was official it would
be Italian or UK based.  As far as I know the only official Eddie site is at
http://www.exclusively-irvine.com/

Cheers,

Switzerland?  Doesn't Schumi live there?  Maybe Michael is doing it for
his bud?  :-)

Obviously, it must have Eddies approval or he wouldn't have put the url
on his helmet...  It is pretty lame.

Eddie, if you're reading this .. give me a call.  I can help you richen
up the site a bit.  We'll start by throwing away Microsoft Front Page.
We'll keep the 'silly hat' picture, 'cause I like it too!!!

Cheers

The site seems to be missing a list of his best excuses for not performing.
He may not be the best driver but he is clearly the best "excuser" in F1.

Indeed, very much in construction...

Don't think so:-) It's just that the most reliable connections to the
Internet in Italy are the ones when you call to Switzerland.
