Herbert a fast driver!

Herbert a fast driver!

With the pitiful showings of the Benetton cars this year and last.  It
really shows how good Herbert was to take two wins for Benetton in 95.
Remember that Schumachers other teamates around that time (or just before)
never looked like winning and nor do Alesi or Berger now!

In the Sauber Herbert has certainly been fast! running ahead of the
Benettons by a long stretch.  He really deserves to be given a chance in a
top team such as Williams as I think he could well challenge for the title
then.

I thought Berger was ahead of Herbert. What were Herbert's points?
I thought Berger was third in grid once this year. What is Herbert's
highest grid place?

Herbert is an excellent driver with a bad luck.

Thank you for the flowers.;-)

Yes, I think he's a very good driver and deserves a top team
like Benetton was in 1995. The Benettons now are not in the
same class and have major chassis problems.
A big surprise after their pretty good Winter testing.
It was a pitty to see him going out. Considering Irvines
ride from 15th, Herbert could also ended up on
the podium.
On the other hand: wasn't it a perfect Ferrari-Day!?!:-)

Ahem, Jos Verstappen had one real podium finish and one virtual. He was 3rd
in Hungary and he became 3rd in Belgium after Schumacher was disqualified.

Just shows that Jos in his first year could get pretty good results with
the Beneton. Now, that's more testimony, IMO, for Verstappen then for the
B-194 or any other Benetton car.

And does on-one else consider Jos' result in Monaco a good one? From number
22 to number 8? That's 14 places! GRanted, Monaco wrecks a lot of cars, but
still...

Jos' only problem has been that he's never been given a decent car to drive
with, including the Beneton B-194.

I'd like to see him in the Williams or McLAren. Even just for a test.
