who gets the advertising money?

Who has the right to sell the advertising space (billboards) on the
circuits? The race organiser/circuit owner or one of Ecclestone's companies?
Was there any virtual advertising (insertions) last season or is there any
this year?

Formula One Administration - in other words Bernie. It is one of the
conditions for holding a race. A bizarre situation in Hungary almost led
to the circuit losing its race, when a local owned the infield of the
circuit and wanted to put up her own adverts on it... The cameras were
repositioned and threats to remove the race were made before a solution
was found.

There are lime-green signs around the circuit that are more visible from
the BernieVision cameras. These are added for the digital F1 coverage,
but left lime-green for normal coverage.
