Head praise for Davidson
WilliamsF1 Technical Chief Patrick Head has praised BAR Honda test driver
Anthony Davidson after he finished Friday's free practice in second place
behind only Michael Schumacher.
"No doubt Anthony is a very fine driver," Autosport quoted Head as saying,
"But without having the opportunity of working with him, it's difficult.
There's no doubt about his speed, but our test drivers also produce lap
times to exactly the same level and sometimes quicker than the race
"But clearly Davidson deserves consideration," Head added as his team looks
certain to be looking for two new drivers in 2005.
