JV cheats - he is scared as of JB..

JV was behind JB but pitted first for slicks and so got ahead. Then he does
not 'hear' the pit call... but he hears JB's and so comes in putting JB 12
seconds behind him... He must be so scared of being beaten seen as a mouth -
afterall he and Pillock have been singing his praises for years (eg better
than MS) but delivering nowt. Sad to see someone become a laughing stock.

Explain his Qual speed then, relative to Button.

You can come up with your *** theories if you like,
but having listened to the drivers on the radio at the race
today (Jacques on 457.8875, Jenson on 453.8875), I can
tell you it was a plain old simple***up.

So what did you hear? (10/4 right?) Jacks just didn't respond (although I
think I heared him cursing). And afterwards everything works fine. Jacks is
just a sorry loser.

What's to explain? They have each been quick, one faster than the other
on one session, then the other way round. The single lap for grid
position happened to go JV's way. Big deal.

By the team, certainly. By Jacques?

By Jacques, yes.
He (Jacques) is asked to pit, and Jenson is told that Jacques
will pit this lap and he (Jenson) is to come in the next lap.
Jacques apparently didnt hear (and he wasnt told when Jenson
was pitting), and came in a lap late.   Jenson came in right
on time.

However just thinking about it now... Jenson was told specifically
that he was coming in the lap after Jacques.    So without
forcing me to go and check the video tape, was Jenson in a
position to see that Jacques had in fact not come in?

David Richards: "...the radio hadn't been working the whole race and that caused
a lot of confusion."

I found the problem: BAR's radio feed to Villeneuve's car was redirected to your
television set, that's why it wasn't working in the car.

>By Jacques, yes.

To be honest, I can't see that he would gain anything by deliberately
***ing up his team-mate's race. But after all the recent talk of the
rivalry between them, one has to wonder how bothered he was that he did
so.

A team playing fair with its drivers could of course have simply waived
through the driver who shouldn't have been there, so that it is not the
innocent party who is penalised.

They were fairly close together, so he probably could tell, but he was
not to know that there had not been a change of intention by Jacques/the
team. After all, Jacques had initially been supposed to come in some
time previously; moreover, I don't know how much fuel Jenson had left.

All in all, he was pretty shabbily treated.

Button was trounced in both qualifying sessions.  Button has been trounced
in qualifying by every teammate he has ever had.  In fact Button has been
beaten in points by every teammate he has ever had until last year and that
was only because of Trulli's mental lapses.  Button is a buffoon.

JV better watch his conduct.  JB has serious connections in the "Boy Band"
Mafia, and Justin Timberlake might show up at his door late at night and
scare him (as it would terrify me).  :)

JV = WDC in '97, CART champ and Indy 505 Champion.

JB = Just another pretty face until he can show what he's capable of (still
attracts ***age girls to F1, the demographic of a small fortune).

You expect him to tell the truth?

I'm guessing you didn't hear it. Villeneuve actually answered with something
like 'No, ..., ... ***'.

What items in my post were untrue?  Fact is Button has been out-qualified
by every teammate he has ever had.  Fact is Button has been beaten in the
final point standings by every teammate except Trulli and that is only
because Trulli has those stupid mental lapses of his.  Those are facts; not
trolls.  Saying Button is a buffoon and doesn't belong in F1 is my opinion
and just because you don't like it doesn't mean it's a troll.
