"I absolutely believe that and I'm certain that it will be so," Mateschitz
said. It's a shame that Dietrich's not at all of the races and isn't
hands-on.

As Webber is quoted in that article as saying:

"Look, everyone at this level has their own agendas and it's been evident
for a long time now that I've never been a part of Marko's."

I still want to know why anyone thinks or thought Mark would ever be
part of Marco's plans. Mark was never one of his young drivers, and
there for never ever part of his plans. Mark is simply not Marco's job.
Marco doesn't do aerodynamics either.

Only one of Marco's young drivers have ever made it.  I don't know what
the fall out level is on similar schemes, but he's not exactly excelled
himself at picking winners.  In fact, some believe he's missed out on
giving one potential race winner by dumping him at the end of 2011.

I wonder. There's been several driver development programmes, and
almost by definition they can't all bear fruit. McLaren have produced
1 winner from their junior driver programmes - Hamilton, and he's left
them now. Heidfeld is another of theirs - and you can count the number
of wins he got at top level on less than one hand.

So I think Vettel may represent a successful development programme for
RBR and Marko.

I'm revising my opinion of Marko. I've been doing some reading this
morning, and it turns out that Marko has had some good drivers in his
teams - Montoya, Wendlinger, Berger as well as Vettel.

I think he knows his onions.
