McLaren sucked the past few years.

Now that they have Ferrari Technology, etc., they seem to be pretty much
kicking ass.

They should at least publicly thank Ferrari for the tech boost, don't
you think?

In terms of reliability? Sure.

They Raikkonen proofed it so now they're ultra reliable.

Nope. Now it's Ferrari's turn to get their house in order for making a
Kimi-mobile.

When exactly did Ferrari send the tech help to McLaren? Was it before
or after they had podiumed or indeed won a race?

I'm sure that goes both ways.

March, I believe, if not earlier.

It is thought that Stepney emailed Coughlan about the flexi-floor in
March - before Australia. Otherwise the 750+ page dossier was sent
at the end of April. Ferrari have stated that they think some data
was also sent in May.

As far as we know none of the info was seen by anyone apart from Coughlan
(plus his wife and the copy shop worker). It's also possible that Coughlan
gave Jonathan Neale a glimpse of something on a golf course.

No one of any relevance has suggested that any Ferrari IP has ever been
on McLaren premises - if Ferrari thought that it had, or had any evidence
that it had they would have brought charges against McLaren. They didn't
do that, they went after the only people they had any evidence against,
Mike & Trudy Coughlan.

Just for Bob, I'll analyse the lap times for the whole season - but it may
take me some time because I have other more important things at the moment.

Oh you refer to the whistle blowing about the cheating.

Well if you happy to support cheating you have little to complain about.

That information could have easily have been sent by Ferrari straight
to the FIA. McLaren was just a conduit.

Yep - so why were Ferrari's team orders OK this time?

It's pretty easy, really:  Pre-Ferrari-IP McLaren - suckful garagiste
POS; post-Ferrari-IP McLaren - championship leading machinery.

Well they've only got a little bit of it they've got any at all.
Ferrari have 100% Ferrari technology and are coming second.

So your point is?
