F1 need to eliminate pit stop all together, no fuel , no tires,
make drives shift gears, no rev. limits,  put skill back into it.

With no fuel, there'd really be no need for tires (whatever they are),
or even really gearshifting of any kind, nor rev limiters.

So, with the worsening oil crisis, I suspect your first criterion may be
met soon, thus eliminating the others, but I am doubtful that results
will be as you predict.

Sir.

You really shouldn't buy into the oil market speculators' propaganda.

If only, apparently we're supposed to get e***d about the possibility that
a position may change during a pitstop. I didn't watch the GP today and I
didn't really care; I used to love sitting in on a Sunday and watching the
race. By the way I'm not anti-schu, in fact I want him to win the
championship this year, Alonso's so dull he makes my head hurt.

How about a mechanic riding along?  That'd slow them down!

How about blindfolds on the drivers too?
