Hello All!

If you haven't noticed in my .sig before, I have ahome page and up
until now I assumed that no-onne outside the uni could access it.
However, I was wondering if someone out there would try the following
address and see if it works:

http://www.adelaide.edu/users/cs3/sajeffer/html/steven.html

Thanks to anyone who takes the time to help out.
There are tons of F1 sites, Red Dwarf sites, Music sites, etc.
As this is configured for local use, if you have trouble with links
(assuming you can connect in the first place), please let me know
so I can fix the error coz I am pretty sure what it will be.

I tried this and discovered from the original posters "reply-to" field
that the host should be .edu.au, but this host can't find the file,
nor can it find http://www.adelaide.edu.au/~sajeffer/html/steven.html
so I guess the guy was right, and it's only available for local people.
I already mailed him my findings.

Even based on looking at the posters e-mail address would tag on another
field that you missed. I would reckon is should be

http://www.cs.adelaide.edu.au/~sajeffer/html/steven.html
           ^^

But even that cannot be found. However, the most important point I think
is the original address is given as a file:// id, along with a localhost
machine. Now, we don't know the machine name, and as a file transfer type
we would need either a password, or to be on the local network to load
the file as a local file. Either way, unless an http daemon is running on
that machine, we wouldn't be able to access it.
