Comparison of Senna and Schumacher

Comparison of Senna and Schumacher

When will the Motoring press stop comparing the two.
Senna proved that even in a very poor car he could still win
races, note his last season at Mclaren.
Shumachers drive in Spain was good but he was fortunate with his
set up . He guessed right.
Tell me hes good only when he consistently wins races whilst not
having the best car.

You may or may not have noticed this but Schumacher had the second best car in
1995 possibly even 1994 and won the championship both years so I think its
safe to say he's good

I tell you he's good and I tell you that he did not have the best car
during 1993, 1994, or 1995. (A caveat: This statement just reached the
lowest upper bound of subjectivism!)

The real trick is to consistently lose races in the best car...  That is
really hard! Driving against Schumacher makes it a lot easier, though.

The press will not, even knowing that if Senna were alive today,
Schumacher would be eating dust together with Damon as second-class
drivers they are. They are good, but compared to Senna they are second
class. But the press needs something to talk about, and since Schumacher
seems to have made great strides driving that POS that Ferrari normally
is, everybody tends to forget the huge  changes effected at Maranello,
believing that the German is the only responsible for the upswing of the
cavallino rampante.

Also, to the one who said that Damon had a better car than Schumacher last
year and the year before... this is subject to debate. The Williams was a
reformed version of the POS that killed Senna ? a car so bad, so bad, that
even the greatest champion of all time had a hell of a time driving it,
and ended up giving his life trying to make it better.

Best regards,
