Ralf was really impressive today. In fact he's been impressive all season when
he's got the car working. I think it's fair to say that the current Williams is
comparatively worse than the Benetton from the early 90's. Ralf's performances
are very similar, considering the field is much closer this year... Maybe Ralf
is going to be a future champion?

Maybe?? Maybe?? No maybe about it. He will be future WC and when he is
I'll be laughing at a few of the doubters in rasf1, oh yes, I have them
marked out already!!

Good luck in your championship BTW.

Judging by his performance in the last two GP's I'd have to say that I
agree with you, Bumble. The trouble is, F1 is full of people who were
being touted as future WC's after a few good races, and who now are
nowhere. Names like Alesi, Coulthard, Fissi and Wurst spring to mind.
Remember, you need an awful lot of luck as well as skill to end up with
that crown.

Stirling Moss, Graf Berghe von Trips, Jacky Ickx, Gilles Villeneuve,
Ronnie Peterson, Carlos Reuteman.

And Nige almost on the list, too.

Sven.

PS. Yes, Ralf's good.

Agreed, great (and brave) race by Ralf yesterday. He
certainly seems to like Silverstone - finishing 4th(?)
in '97, 6th in 98 starting last on the grid, now 3rd.

But hats off to Barichello too, a good race by him
until the gremlins resurfaced. His move on Wurz (around
the outside at Stowe I think) was spectacular.

Well, Ralf Schumacher is looking good, IMO. And don't forget, whenever there
have been brothers in F1, before, it's usually the younger who becomes the most
successful(apparently)!
