I do the F1 TV list on rasf1, eg;

Nation:    F1 TV Channel: F1 Radio: Adverts?     URL:
Irish Rep->RTE Network 2      ?       Yes http://www.rte.ie/
U.K.     ->ITV                        Yes http://www.itv.co.uk
   -     ->   -           BBC Radio 5 No  http://www.bbc.co.uk
   -     ->   -           Talk Radio  Yes http://www.talksport.net

but also ask niggling little questions I can't get answered elsewhere
(and often cross-post 2 otherwise unrelated newsgroups to make sure an
answer is more forth-coming!)

I've noticed that UK Lord Chancellor Lord Irvine (he of the expensive
wall-paper) is sometimes called by his first name, Derry (presumably he
was named after the Derry in Ulster). So is he any relative of Eddie
Irvine, the Formula 1 driver?

Zur Zeit keine Sendung (just an `in' joke all my postings end with).

FWIW see:

http://britain-info.org/bistext/fordom/gov/cabinet/lirvine.htm

His first name is AlexanDER = DERry.

He is Scottish like most of the cabinet :-) - correctly addressed
as Lord Irvine of Lairg, Lairg being a village in Sutherland
where his family's roots are.
