For those of you who haven't yet found the joys of the F1 timing site, here is
the URL so you can keep tabs on what is happening in Montreal...it's pretty
much an instant-results service and saves you having to wait for 4 squillion
people to post the timings on the ng!

http://www.f1world.com/f1timing/

Now, aren't I just the kindest person??!

After modesty, it's your most notable characteristic.
Enjoy your weekend.

Amen to that, I had the timing from Gale Force on the Spanish GP.
But it wasn't really what i had expected, to me it seemed like they had
a guy watch the broadcast and type in the drivers positions and lap
times - the page didn't update until the timing was showed on the
broadcast.
Maybe i'm unfair but i was a bit disappointed.
OTOH it was great to see a record of events during the race..also i got
some info the Swedish commentators on TV4 missed..

I will check it out at the next GP in Europe (TV4 shows a 45 min summary
of all races outside Europe, it stinks)

Yes, that's a good one. But if you don't have anything meaningful to do,
you can follow the sessions live at http://www.f1-live.com/GPF1/ It's
pretty much like a TAG-Heuer timing monitor (how I miss those words of
Wattie...)

Wow, that really is fantastic - second best thing to watching it live
on Eurosport :-(

Do they do this for every GP?

You both are - thanks!

Yep, and according to the site it'll soon be in English too.
