I'm sure this has been asked before, "why aren't there any points awarded for
the most number of laps led??"
Okay, they do it in Indycar (don't want to start anymore comparisons, etc.)
I think you'll agree that both of the Williams drivers equally deserve maximum
points for their efforts, but I can't help thinking that if Hill had the extra
incentive to pass Villneuve for a couple of extra points he wouldn't have sat
back at certain points in the race. Although having oil continually poured over
you, turbulent air, etc. is probably incentive enough.
