Webber suggests a saturday test for Schu!

Post by Brian Youn » Wed, 04 Aug 1999 04:00:00

Michael Schumacher's manager, Willi Weber, has said that Schu will undergo
a checkup this week, and if there are no medical obligations, Schumacher
could test his Ferrari on Saturday. "We may then think about the Hungarian
GP in two weeks".

He was walking again shortly after the accident, showing that he is
recovering well, only not as quickly as first hoped. Apparently the problem
has been the bad cut on the heel of his foot. He also damaged some of the
toes on his right foot.

If this was the case, the World Championship is still a possibility,
although Ferrari will probably want to play it safe and support Eddie.

The latter would be a first...

The great (broken) god said himself that he thought the chances of
testing this weekend were "five per cent". So don't get your hopes up
too far, Ronnie. And if Eddie continues to edge out his lead, dear
Michael's injuries will mysteriously heal slower than expected...

Profound wisdom, Ronnie. Wish I had your insight...

If you insist on continually poking shit at me, at least try to figure
out which of the comments were mine and don't try to attribute others
to me.
