Hello friends,

I am in a process of compiling a 300-page book, regarding all seven
cricket World Cups played till date. The book will contain the
following features:

- Reviews of each World Cup plus match reports of all the 200 matches
played in the seven events till date.

- Complete scorecards of all the matches.

- A wide range of statistics and records regarding the WC
competitions, teams, individuals and umpires etc.

- A complete history of all ODI tournaments played till date.

- Superb Pictorial interface with some classic pictures ever taken of
the competition.

- Stunning tid-bits regarding the previous WC matches.

- Plus much more interesting material.

The basic purpose of this post is that I just want get an idea about
which type of material is most demanding.  Please tell me what do u
think about the above mentioned features. If you have any suggestions,
please let me know. Secondly, what the name of the book should be?
Though, I have already some names in my mind but again I want to
listen from u all geniuses, to suggest a good, well-worded name of the
book.

I am a 21-year old MA English student and a cricket statistician here
in Pakistan. I write for many newspapers, magazines and also for some
cricket sites. I will be extremely grateful if u share your ideas with
me in this matter.

best regards,

Muhammad Asim

Sounds like an interesting idea!!

If you want to focus on World Cup, I suggest you delete the complete history
of all ODI ( you can include something like the first ever ODI of every
country though) that would make it more world cup specific and when you get
famous because of the book, you will have idea and scope for another one :)

For every match review, I know it is extremely difficult, how about getting
it written from someone who played in that match.

Or perhaps just get players from each of the 7 Finals to write about the
final.

Great idea, good luck

Jason.
