Iam fairly sure this must be Kanitkar who did the bowling, and
it's almost certainly Kanitkar in the first inning too (that's H
Kanitkar, not R Kanetkar as the Hindu claims :-)
Maharashtra current has both Kinikar and Kanitkar, which is
probably where the confusion arises :-) Its Hemant Kinikar, the opener,
and Hrishikesh Kanitkar (son of former test cricketer H.S.Kanitkar) who
bats in the middle order and bowls off-spin.
I dont know if Kinikar does any bowling, I dont think he does
(at least not as a regular). Kanitkar, however, is an up-and-coming all
rounder, he's 20 and was in the India Under 19 test team last season.
In fact, Gautam saw highlights of him taking 11 wickets in a "test"
against Australia Under 19 at Trivandrum about a year ago :-) Since the
2nd inning was 2/99, its clearly a lot of bowling and thus must be
Kanitkar. QED :-)

Yes, that should have been Bihar. Sorry for the error.

Also,  weirdly  Hindu reported today that M.P has won outright. I am
slightly  confused,  since  all  the  pre-QF matches are supposed to
start  on  the  same  day  and  end the same day. Either, the M.P Vs
Maharashtra  match  was  delayed  by  a  day  or  Hindu reports were
delayed...In  any  case,  here  is  the updated report of the Pre-QF
