Warne said in an interview that he wasn't trying for a big hit, just to get
it anywhere for a single, although it didn't exactly look like a shot for a
single. As somebody above said, he didn't seem the most relaxed bloke on
the park at the time, although up to that point it hadn't affected his
batting much: he'd got through the nineties very well. Probably panicked a
bit, because McGrath would have tried very hard to stay in with him.
