He and Franklin have just put on 638 at 3.93 an over for the 8th
wicket. Not that it will change anything (barring more of that
rain) but it's nice to see some fight -- Vettori having just
smacked Malinga for consecutive 4s and then toed a yorker away for
4 leg-byes! Go Daniel, Go! May the spirit of the great Black Cap
/ All Black Eric Tindell be with you on his 96th birthday.

I really shouldn't post with one hand on a beer and cell-phone to my ear.

That's 63 they've put on so far, not 638! :-)

And Malinga bowled Vettori, yorking him with another fast one right
after the toe-job for 4 leg-byes.  This game's got it all, folks.
