by I am a member in waiting of the MCC who has a pair of Lords season
tickets for this coming season, in the Edrich stand (the high up
one). I will not be able to attend every game at Lords, and think it
would be a shame to leave seats empty. Obviously, I have friends who
are more than willing to take my place for the key dates (weekends) of
major matches. But I may have no takers for county games and weekday
dates. I would be happy to let some one else go to see a game, as I
wouldn't want the tickets to go to waste. I would offer, where
appropriate, the tickets at face value, or for free as it is against
MCC rules to offer them for profit. I would be loath to make any
profit out of the tickets, and would be equally horrified if they were
sold on at profit. I may have to demand a deposit to ensure that the
tickets are borrowed in good faith. If there are any genuine cricket
fans who would like to take me up on the offer, and espeacially if
they will be able to go at short notice, please email me direct at
available, but it must be above board and respectable.
