Murali is a member of Tamil Union. Chandana used to be the captain of
the club. There are no other Tamil players in Tamil Union team
(except another occasional inclusion).
Moors got just one or two Muslim players.
SSC got one young Muslim player (fast medium bowler) in the team.
I don't think BRC got any Burghers in the team.
By the way Panadura CC seems to have a 'Big Tiger' in their team.
Although he is a Sinhalese, his name is Perumpuli - literally Big
(perum) Tiger (puli)!!
SSC and Colombo CC grounds are separated by a road. NCC (Sangakkara's
team) and BRC grounds are within one km circle from SSC and CCC. Sri
Lankan first class cricket was too Colombo-centric until recently.
