The thing that really, really gets me about The Hindu recently is their
complete disregard for the simple journalistic necessity of *checking
sources*.  Quotes from almost *all* sources in the article are not checked
and there is little or nothing to back up claims made by individuals with
a self-interest in the issues or incidents mentioned.

It's the sort of thing you'd expect in the Murdoch Press (read SMH etc),
but having been "brought up" in the profession with The Hindu's past
glories, I'd expect a little better.

Sad really, but at least you guys get a taste of what Australians have to
put up with... :)

Obviously this article is one that has been lifted from the SMH, but it
*still* shouldn't have made it and it's not the only one...
