Thanks for this.
B'lore loss is not 45 Cr, but around 25 cr if you consider the
opportunity costs of Team Sponsors
If IPL is here to say, you can also take out the Franchise Fees of 48
Cr which leaves even B'lore profitable (by Operating Cash flows) to
the tune of 23 Cr.

Also,
Rajasthan Royals Gate Receipts: 5 cr
Bangalore Royals Gate Receipts: 15 cr

Valuation based on Gate Receipts (with 5% spread between Cost of
Capital and Growth)
Jaipur: 5/5% = 100 Cr
B'lore 15/5% = 300 Cr

i.e Bangalore's franchise value should be 200 Crores more than
Rajasthan (and voila Free Market puts in the exact same
differentials)

This is the most important fact clueless idiots miss when they harp
about Rajasthan's franchise cost vs Bangalore's franchise cost

It would be better if the currency used in this analysis was in the
currency of world commerce i.e. USD.

Shahrukh spent 9 crores on buying tickets for the Kolkatta
versus Mumbai  match in Mumbai. He distributed it amongs
friends, relatives etc. Has this been accounted for?
