Modi said the stadia hosting the matches would undergo massive
upgradation to improve public amenities.

"We met the associations' representatives and told them the
infrastructure needs in the stadia and what help they can expect from
us. There will be massive upgradation in all the staging venues in terms
of facilties such as public toilets and seating arrangements," he told
reporters here.

"We will be spending crores of rupees in this regard and will also be
placing the franchisees' needs before the staging associations.

As long as people were blindly flocking to the stadium to support their
"national" team, bcci never had to bother about facilities for
spectators. But now that they need to attract customers, they are making
sure that spectators can spend an evening comfortably.

Why are they so interested in upgrading public toilets?. We know what
activities go on in there. Its a waste of public money promoting
imm***activities.

Are these toilets sponsored?. They should get Charmin or some such to
sponsor it. Since we don't use toilet paper in India, they could get
Pepsi to sponsor toilet water.

They should not waste public money. The public can do sandas in the
seats. Our players do sandas on the pitch all the time.
