Yep, I remember that game Dave, I was on your opposing team and we beat
you guys since I had figures of 5-3-2-9 :-) Gawd that ole beach sand
sure helped the turn didn't it? :-)

That could have been a factor Dave, but IIRC there were a lot of problems
with crowd control at that particular match.  Especially during the
initial overs (between overs 5 and 9 I think) the openers had a lot of
trouble seeing off the new ball when regular crowd invasions from the
neighboring coed volleyball game occurred.  IIRC, there were also a bunch
of streakers who distracted the umpires quite a bit.  Definitely cause for
the ICC to arouse themselves and, err, take notice ;-)

Yeah, though the ***y umpires left a lot to be desired. Kept looking

LMAO Hari, good one... Of course my bowling would have been much
better had I not been distracted by one of said (female) streakers...

*grin* Of course, I was distracted by said streakers of the female variety
too, but then again, I had better control over my balls I guess *chuckle*

In the domestic national competitions Michael Holding's (Derbyshire) 8-21
against Sussex at Hove in 1988 is the best. In school cricket, Alex Kelly had
bowling figures of 4.3-4-0-10 for Bishop Auckland against Newton Aycliffe in
England in 1994. I'm still researching though.
