by I was wondering if anybody in England (or anywhere else, for that
matter) could provide info on 'Who's playing for which county'
this season. Or is it too early to know that . I suppose the
season starts towards the end of April, right ??
I was thinking that there must be quite a few new overseas players
this year. Especially since 4 Pakistanis who played last time (Malik,
Akram, Aaquib and Waqar (if he is fit ) for English counties are
bound to turn up for their country instead of a county this time
around. How many players from South Africa (apart from Donald ) play
for English county teams ? Are there any major transfers by any of
the leading English players ?
Incidentally , BBC mentioned today that Yorkshire are interested in
signing up Tendulkar this season (Mcdermott was to have become the first
overseas player to play for Yorkshire but he pulled out due to injury).
It was said that by April 3rd or so, it would be known if Sachin takes
up this offer.
