People who are caught driving with more than the prescribed *** ***
limit are allowed to continue driving (after they've sobered up, of course)
until their case is heard.  In Australia anyway...

Excellent self-description. Who knows, you may become a
semi-functional member of society yet, Narayanan Ammanur.

That is standard procedure until your trial gets underway. Just a week
ago San Diego Chargers linebacker tested positive for the same steroid
nandrolone(sp?) and will continue to play pending an appeal/trial

Now that the PCB and not the WADA is handling the case, I suspect a 2
year ban is unlikely; something in the ballpark of 4-6 months is what
we might be looking at.

Pakistan is a signatory to the Copenhagen convention on *** in sport
which automatically hooks them into WADA, so any trivial sentences and
WADA will likely put pressure on the Pakistan government.
