That was by _far_ the most spectacular game of one day cricket I have seen
since the World Cup. Michael Bevan has shown exactly why he's the best
one-day player in the world. Tendulkar and Ganguly have shown why they're
the best partnership.

I just can't help but think what might have been with Pollock and McGrath as
strike bowlers rather than Hayward/Rose and Vettori/Warne as a spinner
rather than Tufnell.

I would assume that these statistics don't really count for anything - so
Bevan's score won't be recorded as the highest ever by an Australian. This
is a real shame since it came against what would have to be described as a
better bowling attack than most international teams can field. A real pity.

And if Caddick had learnt how to slide his bat correctly it would have been
