whats going on? why is not in the team?

Azhar and Mongia should have been on this tour right from the beginning.
Testmatches are real cricket and you need the best players in your side
for them, but it is worth trying out new players in one day matches and
side games.  Both Azhar and Mongia should have been playing in the
testmatches.

This tour has shown that state of cricket in India is not so healthy
because at the moment there is no replacement for Azharuddin, Srinath or
Kumble.  There hasn't been a good enough replacement for Gavaskar all
these years.  Domestic cricket in India has to be more competitive and
talent needs to be spotted early and groomed.

Regardless of what many think here, the fact that opposition players were
relieved not to see Azhar in the side is a bit of a hint to his quality -
they're the ones playing the game and know their stuff.  I know when we (NZ)
plays them, he's alsways the one (along with SRT) I'm worried about.
