Ireland (not Scotland)

I've just noticed that Australia is Scheduled to play Ireland this tour
not Scotland. Is this another sneaky attempt to stop Scotland from attaining
a higher status? or were the Scots worried that they might suff under
another *** by Tom Moody on the hagus throwing record?

I think what happens is that most touring teams get a match against either
Scotland or Ireland. As far as Australia is concerned, they played Scotland
in 1981 and 1989 and Ireland in 1985 and 1993. The following touring teams
have played Scotland (I can't remember who have played Ireland)

1986   Indians
1987   Pakistanis
1989   Australians
1990   Indians
1992   Pakistanis

i.e. about half of the touring teams.
