WI required just one run to win the Barbadoes test match against India in
a series played in the mid-80s. Kirmani bowled a no ball and WI won by 10
wickets. Can these bowling figures be stated as:

0 0 0 0 or
0 0 0 1

Those days the no-ball was not counted among the runs given away by the
bowlers.

In the old days, no-balls did not count against the bowler, so bowling
analyses of 0-0-0-0 were possible.  Now that no-balls and wides ARE
counted against the bowler, this is not now possible.

This is *not* true. It *is* possible. See my previous post further up
the thread.

Surely the figures should read 0 0 1 0 if the no ball were
counted against the bowler.
A question should the overs bowled be 0 or 0.1?
