Need 3 Australian selectors + 1

I am the +1 and that makes 4

Now lets see if we can get 4 selectors from this group to pick a 17 man
squad for the Ashes tour. I will invite Al to be Chairman of the
selectors so would need 2 more.

Rules are simple but hard  ... lets limit the personal abuse and see if
we can manage a compromise in naming a 17 man squad for this tour.
Majority will rule ie. 3 to 1 but its preferable if we can get a
consensus  .. well it would be if I knew what it meant  :-)

And all discussion is done though rsc  .......

btw: bribes from other selectors are ok as I am pretty sure this happens
at the moment

I don't want the silly job, but I'll still suggest stuff..

1st spinner == Lyon
2nd spinner needed? If so, who?
I'd suggest Agar or that Pakistani immigrant (sorry, not sure of his name).

the thing is its so easy to slag selectors ( and I have being guilty )
so I thought it would be interesting to see how we would do at the same
job  ....  can we "compromise " ?

Quoting the classics.

"Compromise n. Such an adjustment of conflicting interests as gives each adversary the satisfaction of thinking he has got what he ought not to have, and is deprived of nothing except what was justly his due."

Ambrose Bierce, The Devil's Dictionary.
