(Obituary) The Ashes of Indian Cricket

Fellow Beings,
With profound grief I have to announce the demise of the long ailing
creature fondly called Indian Cricket by its followers (which is really
an oxymoron). The death blow was struck by a hitherto non fatal virus
whose name is supposed to begin with the last letter of the english
alphabet.Doctors are still not clear about the exact cause of the
internal decay which preceded, and in most opinions, caused the
demise. Most experts believe that a sustained malfunctioning of an
overheated brain cell (known in informal medical circles as Tendy) was
the principal cause of the untimely yet foreseen end.But some esteemed
medical scientists regard it as a thorough decay of the whole
body, rooted at the bottom and gradually spreading to the top.The
immediate causes of the death were certainly the introduction of a high
dose of the lethal drug runoutine combined with tendheroics.
So in true Indian tradition,I declare the next three days as days of
national mourning and the display of the Ashes of the dcd for public
view at the now-renowned Garden of Eden.People are requested not to pray
"may the soul rest in peace",because of the futility of the request in
view of the existing conditions of the land of Satan. Also,no appeal of
resurrection shall be entertained in normal circumstances. The soul will
be assigned its due place at the time of the final game between The
Republic of South Africa and Zimbabwe.

called Robin....) Himself

Hey, it's not all that bad. India is in good company - every major
side except for SA and WI have lost to Zim in ODI's. (And only WI is
safe for the moment :-)

I remember back in the bad old days of 93/94 when SA managed to snatch
defeat from the jaws of victory in ODI after ODI (especially vs Pak),
and now look at their record.

The Indian team is full of talent. I'm sure it will bloom sometime.
(Hopefully after the final of this tournament :-)

Hey God !!
This is Satan responding . Who the hell do you think am I ? Am i jobless
here doing nothing other than entertaining Indian cricket team . Do not
forget I'm assigned to carry out some responsible tasks . I feel extremely
heartbroken by your quote .I welcome people to my kingdom who did something
worthwhile for their Motherland [Ha ha ha] ,,, and not people who degraded
the value of such a popular game called Cricket . Lemme give you a better
suggestion GOD . Do request the Intelligent lot of India to welcome our
infamous heroes in a better way . Clean up the suburbs of Mumbai and use
the heroes' head as a trashbox thereby emptying the contents . Serves both
purpose cleaning of mumbai and cleansing indian cricket of their lost glory
[ hi hi hi]] .

        lots of hatred ,,

Well, these people did do something worthwhile *in* the motherland. It
was only in the obscure li'l kingdom of SA that they took the hangman's
cord....have some fun with them,man....I would've,had some of my
residents (aka SMG,MA,KD et al) not objected.

,,, and not people who degraded

I can suggest a better place to shove up all the trash of Mumbai...and
it would be a better punishment too.
