15.2 Ntini to Jaffer, OUT, horrible shot! Ntini bangs one in short, it
stays well outside the offstump, Jaffer tries to fetch it from there, pulls
and all he does is end up popping it up to Nel, who moves to his left, at
mid-on to take a simple catch.

Gambhir can start practicing for the Capetown text next week.

But will Dravid/Chappelli axe Sehwag or Jaffer is the interesting question.

Jaffer:
1. Misread the ball and started to play a pull/hook
2. The he found he had no room to free his arms
3. Still instinctively he went thru with the shot
4. Ball balloned up off the top of the bat

DB.

The ball was way outside the offstump and was short. How can he pull or hook
?

It was a very bad judgement and reading of line and length especially when
tendulkar was out just in the previous over.

Jaffer, Ganguly et al should have taken a leaf out of laxman's I1 and
eschewed most of the balls outside the offstump.
Even ganguly went for mindless shots a couple of times to balls outside the
offstump and short which should have been
left alone.
