Hey Mike- have you woken up with a hangover this morning, or are you the
latest one to decide to "Have a p*** take of Jackie for her crush on
Courtney?" I don't have any passion for Hick, except he is a good
batsman as far as Worcester are concerened, and as a matter of fact, I
don't like Holliaoke. Apart from Courtney, all my interest in cricket is
for cricket, not the players.

So there- lay off me!

Jackie ! Jackie ! Baybee !  I was, in my usual heavy-handed way, having a go at the press with
my version of a Glenda Slagg article (surely you read Private Eye ?).  So, I was actually
agreeing with your denunciation of press 'tall poppy syndrome'.  I would certainly never dream
of mocking your CW infatuation.  How did you get the idea I was having a go at you ?  Us
yorkies are well known for our sensitivity and understanding in all matters relating to personal
feelings.

Well, I will eat humble pie and admit- my neighbour is a Yorkie, and tho
she can be very blunt and to the point, she has been very supportive of
me recently when various *** things happened at the beginning of the
year,

And even more humble pie- tho I am a Southerner, I can't stand the "we
are better than you" attitude of some of them- prefer to call a spade a
spade me. (Cripes I am sounding like G Boycott!!!)

(But Worcestershire will still win the championship- Hick will scare all
the oppositins bowlers away if he keeps this up!)

Funnily enough, I started that one, then it went off on a tangent all of
its own. Sorry if it happens again.....

98. Now there's a good number. I remember way back when Athers declared when
Hick was 98* in an Ashes test. Maybe we should get Aslam to tell us how many
declarations have come with people at 95* or better ?
