I even tried it on Linux using Firefox and the old Mozilla.  I didn't quite
get far enough because, despite installing Flash on both browsers, it kept
saying that Flash wasn't installed.

Another PC here complained that Flash wasn't installed, and then produced
the above error when Flash was installed.  Both PC's have upgraded to IE7,
so I don't know if that's anything.  The fact that it doesn't work in other
flavour browsers would suggest not.  Anything's possible with Windows.

What browser did you use, and have you upgraded to IE7?

I am getting the same message now.

I wouldn't try to hard to get the page open it isn't that exciting. Ok if
you are waiting on hold but after that well .....................

IE7 on XP SP2 - but now it IS working!!
