Kumble's greatest moments: (greatest K-moments)

In this moment of truimph of India and its skipper, one cannot help
looking back at some of the finest moments of this Dus-numbri
warhorse....

Here are a few from the top of my head... ps feel free to correct
add..

Some of what I term now as the greatest K-moments

1> Claiming all 10 wickets in a Test innings  against Pak

2> Batting with a cracked jaw against the Windies...

3> Toiling unsung for 600 Test wickets.. third bowler to do so in T-
history.

4>  Skippering India to a series win against Pak in his maiden role as
skipper.

5>  Doggedly batting to the death in that failed rescue attempt in T2
Sydney..
I was so sad for him when he fell short in spite of all the
enormous odds that
the dodgy umpiring had placed on him and India in that test.
Most importantly,
I was impressed by the way he carried himself post match in
stark contrast to
his Australian counterpart and raising his esteem world over.

6> Of course (now for me the greatest K-moment of all) skippering
India to
a historic win over the Aussies in Perth.

Is there  any more K-moments fellow rsc-ers could add.. ps feel free
to do so.

I've had heaps of special K moments; horses shouldn't have all the fun.
I just can't remember them anymore.

Claiming the opposition didn't play in the right spirit, then
dismissing someone with a ball that clearly hit the bat before being
given LBW. That's ***ing inspirational

Well if you were impressed by that then you're a top class FL. Kumble
should have had a CoC charge slapped on him for his petulant, hypocrital
and ridiculous sook after the Sydney Choke.

And many LBW appeals this test that clearly hit the batsmen outside the
line of the stumps, a foot outside in some cases. Yes Kumble sure does play
in the spirit of the game.

Haha Well said, Kumble is a college grad unlike Ricky Cheating and
Guiltycrist and a man of character which cannot said of the Aussie
cricket players, but can of their great tennis players {Laver and
Rosewall come to mind], so go *** yourself Alveyboy

Exactly how's that work RB Rao?

And btw, isn't it interesting that Stalin leaps to your mind. I suppose
that the behaviour of the BCCI makes him float to the surface of your
subconcious.
