India out of Carlton & United ?

With three losses on the trot, can they spring a surprise yet? Batting
first after winning the toss were shocking decisions given their
vulnerability to the moving ball and extra bounce. The team selection
could have been better. India must go in with atleast three fast bowlers
at all times. Wonder why Mohanty wasn't given a game in place of the the
injured Agarkar. Kumble appears to be a spent force and should make way
for the left armer Sunil Joshi, if spin is warranted.. My team for the
next game in batting order is ~

Ganguly, Tendulkar, Dravid, Singh, Laxman, Kanitkar, Joshi, Dighe,
Srinath, Prasad and Mohanty.

I would play Agarkar and Martin in place of Joshi and Kanitkar
respectively ~ fitness permitting.

Cheers

Drop Dighe (5 runs from 80 odd balls) and have Dravid keep wickets. That
would give you an additional option.

Brilliant!!
At least this time, we will not hear excuses about how wicketkeeping
would affect his batting.. :-)

With due respect, does it matter at all what team we choose? Besides the
uncertainties of ODI, or an off day by the oppostion, one doesn't really
expect any positive performance from a team that's been losing the entire
trip!
