Have not seen any of today's play, how did MJ look, did he trouble the batsmen at all?  Looks like he boweled reasonably tight.

Didn't see that much meself so comments are c
ategorical. From what I've seen he's been fairly  impressive. Easily
the fastest we've had and has added an hard edge to the attack. Had a
mare in the field though. I may do a catch up after the footy.

ps. SPIT could be the new MEW. "You don't often see that. He's a
brilliant fielder." as another one ends up on the grass.

He did indeed, but you'll never guess which part of that Brydon Coverdale chose to focus on entirely.

No.. go on.. never.

Note 1 to Mike: This is another example of the narrative building.  What he says is perfectly accurate, but is not the whole story.  Focus on the negative; don't report the positive for Others, but focus on the positive and don't report the negative for the Blues (of both ilks).

Note 2:  Coverdale holds a special place in my heart for his efforts wrt Symonds.  I wonder how he reported on Khawaja...

There must be something the QCCCCCC can do about Coverdale in these
social media enriched times.

and he was even better in the 2nd innings     2 overs for 16 runs just
put India in mental control

So twice did MJ open and twice he didnt get a wicket and was expensive
in his first spell

No wonder Holmans wants him in the tour squad

What Willy? You saw it in your lounge-room watching Foxtel?

Johnson bowled the 10th and 12th overs of the Indian second innings.
He did not open the attack.

In the first innings he did open the attack and didn't get a wicket
but check the commentary for the number of edges.
