A test career in 2 halves

I was just playing on statsguru, here's an interesting career
breakdown

total
54   90  17  3010 208* 174* 151   41.23   6  14   7

first half
27   43  11  1963 208* 174* 151   61.34   5   9   1
second half
27   47   6  1047 101*  98   94   25.53   1   5   6

gotta be about the biggest let-down in a prolonged career...

(I'm sure people can guess the 'batsman' involved..)

He will be sacked very shortly for a former player in his
mid-30's to replace him.

Cheers,

Very interesting stats though.
