WORLD'S HIGHEST PAID CRICKETER ! ?

Intriguing headline!
Ain't it ?
It has always been a intriguing one for me. In every other sport we compare the
salaries of playes and what do they make off the field. But in cricket we tend
to forget that aspect of the game altogether. I thought let me ask this
question to my fellow cricket aficionados. Ifi have to take a guess, it
wouldn't be too far fetched, I would name Sachin Tendulkar as the highest money
making cricketer of our times. If my memory serves me correct he signed a $5
million deal few years back and makes much more from other endorsments. Would
someone care to enlighten us on this one. So if sachin is the highest paid at
the moment does that make him the highest paid cricketer ever in terms of total
income from saliaries and endorsments?

I, too, have no figures on this, but I would imagine that Shane Warne
would be near the top of the list.  I understand he has very lucrative
contracts.

Sure it might be true, but what I am interested in finding out is the total
income they make both from salaries and outside ventures. I stiil think it has
to be between Warne and Tendulkar. I think it wouldn't be a bad business  idea
if some sports mag starts keeping such sort of stats
