The worst examples of bad sportsmanship
If the umpires are so bad that they do not give correct decisions with
blatant snicks - good batsmen would walk

please name all the test batsmen who consistantly walk.

The only one that I'm confident will walk every time that he's sure
he's out is Lara.

The question was not about the snick, the question was whether the
ball carried. On the footage that the 3rd umpire saw it wasn't
conclusive that the ball did not touch the ground as it was being
caught.

And who does walk?
The only batsman I can recall who regularly walked was Arjuna Ranatunga...

If only he'd done some running.

The difference is that Arjuna actually had someone else doing his
walking for him.

I can't name all, but Fleming seems quite willing to walk when he knows he's
out, he even walks on LBWs.

To be serious, Lara always walks.

is this the first case of a batsman who walked and got to stay in?

i'm struggling to find batsman at any level who walk when they have snicked
the ball.  to walk on an lbw ie. fleming is plain stupidity as they're often
not clear cut - you know it's close but not how close.

Gilly walked in the Perth Test, to a bat-padder.  Langer also walked in the
same innings, off that no-ball-that-wasn't.  Considering Fingerless Ian
Robinson was the umpire, that was a remarkable act.

Indeed. Pity he was out LBW for 0 in both the Gabba and the Hobart Tests.

I think it was a good example of sportsmanship. Gilchrist was willing to
walk if Boucher claimed the catch which he didn't so he waited around for
the third umpires decision. At best the replays were inconclusive and the
benefit must go to the batsman. IMO the catch was not taken even if the
little finger of the glove was under the ball it dropped out and was picked
up by Boucher rolling his hand over it (he wouldn't of known what happened
which is why he didn't claim the catch).

Later on in the evening ( Think it was on the news) they showed the catch
with the magnifying section on it that placed even more doubt on the catch.
I assumed the channel 9 commentators didn't show this as it contradicted the
***they were going on with eg "only 1 out 4 camera angles showed it wasn't
a catch" unfortunately it was the only one were you could see the ball and
glove at point of contact
